Every effort is made to keep the costs low and maintain an experience that is affordable for families, friends and groups of every type. Professionally organized bike tours typically run over a hundred dollars a day, per person.
The per person costs for this trip include:
- Your ferry ticket from Anacortes, Wa to Orcas Island and back
- Transportation of your gear to and from camp via cargo truck
- Accomodations at the Moran’s ELC and access to all the facilities
- Prepared breakfasts and dinners for the days you are in camp
The Orcas Bike trip runs only once a year on Memorial Day weekend. The ride starts early on the Saturday before Memorial day. Riders can choose between a 3 day trip option (returning to Anacortes Monday afternoon) or a 4 day trip option (returning Tuesday afternoon). 4 day riders pay only for the difference in the cost of food and get a full extra day in camp. The deadline to register is May 15th.
